Description
The Industrial Maintenance Mechanic works closely with the engineering and production teams. Is involved in all maintenance activities on the premises. Responsible for major repairs and upkeep of all production lines. Align with department objectives and company strategic goals. Consistently meeting external and internal customers’ needs and requirements by completing assignments on time and verifying effectiveness
RESPONSIBILITIES
? Preventive maintenance procedures according to the PM schedule and as directed by the Maintenance supervisor.
? Unexpected maintenance events as assigned.
? Perform diagnosis and replacement of faulty electrical elements of machine including motors, relays, PLCs and switches.
? Troubleshoots and repairs of machinery and equipment including infrastructure and facilities.
? Production facility improvement projects.
? Spare parts inventory management.
? Assist, as necessary, with production support activities.
? Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
? 3-5 years’ experience in a manufacturing maintenance environment.
? Experience in performing general and preventative maintenance.
? Mechanical / electrical background with proficiency in hydraulics, pneumatics, and industrial controls.
? Maintenance software familiarity. Microsoft Office familiarity
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
? HS diploma or equivalent
? Higher education desired
LANGUAGE SKILLS
? Fluent in English.
? Excellent ability to communicate with others is necessary
SKILLS
? Knowledge of electric motors and controllers
? PLC understanding
? Ability to prioritize work.
? Ability to work without direct supervision.
? Provide customer service to all departments
